What Olympic sports do you enjoy watching the most?
Preach and teach. (I do so now).
How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?
I quit worrying about it and move Don.
You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?
I usually drive my truck pulling an RV. But since that wasn’t a choice, I’d say car.
Where would you go on a shopping spree?
My favorite toy store, Lowe’s Home Improvement. I love their selection of tools and materials. I enjoy making and repairing furniture.
What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.
“How are you doing?” This is an empty question that gets a standard and equally empty response. Better to say hello and move into a real conversation.
Do you believe in fate/destiny?
No. God created in us the ability to make choices. And choices have consequences.
What experiences in life helped you grow the most?
There’s been so many! Recently it was surviving leukemia. The initial diagnosis was less than a month to live. Now three years later I look for opportunities to help others whose hope is being challenged.
Describe the most ambitious DIY project you’ve ever taken on.
I completely remodeled our kitchen. I installed ceramic tile floors, quartz countertops, removed wallpaper, new paint, new backsplash, new appliances, new lighting, refaced cabinet doors, installed new cabinet hardware.
