A lot of folks don’t clearly understand that simple faith comes from knowing God, trusting God, and obeying God. That’s the simple pattern of faith found in most of the heroes of faith from Hebrews 11. They either came to know God initially, or grew in their knowledge of God. This led them to trust God as He gave them purpose. Then they acted on that purpose in obedience. Not perfect obedience, but intentional.

The same can be true for us today. As we come to know, trust and obey God.
